Dispatch
In-stock goods are usually despatched the same day for orders received before 10am, and the next working day for orders received after 10am.
Goods to the UK are normally delivered the next working day - see Shipping Costs below. Goods to destinations outside the UK may take uo to 5 days dependent on the destination.
Out-of-stock items are usually despatched within 2 working days - please call 01744757657 for availability of out-of-stock items.
Shipping Costs UK
Our shipping costs are based on the weight, the value, and the delivery destination of the goods ordered. For UK shipping, up to three options may be available as follows. The available shipping options are shown in the right-hand column when goods are placed in the basket.
- Collect - Although we are not a retail outlet (Shop), customers can collect goods by prior arrangement. The best way to place orders for collection is to place your order on-line and choose 'collect' as the delivery option. We will then contact you when the goods are ready for collection.
- Free Delivery - This shipping method is available for orders over £100 in value. The shipping method used is by our courier for heavier items, and by Royal Mail Special or Recorded delivery. In all cases you goods should be delivered the next working day after despatch
- Royal Mail Recorded - This shipping method is available for low weight (under 2kg), low value items. Goods are usually delivered the day after dispatch and will require a signature on delivery.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery - This shipping method is available for goods up to 10kg. Goods are guaranteed to be delivered before 1pm the next working day after dispatch (Saturday and Sunday are not working days), and will require a signature on delivery.
- UK Courier - This shipping method is available for goods up to 25kg and is charged at a flat rate per parcel. Goods are usually delivered the next working day after dispatch (Saturday and Sunday are not working days), and will require a signature on delivery.
Shipping Costs Overseas
Overseas shipping is again based on the weight, the value, and the delivery destination of the goods ordered. Two options are normally available.
- International Airmail - This shipping method is only available on low weight (2kg max) and low value items. Delivery times are between 2 - 5 days dependent on destination.
- DHL Europe - This method is available to most EC countries, and is usually cheaper than Parcelforce.
- Parcelforce International - This shipping method is only available on higher weight and higher value items. Delivery times are between 3 -5 days dependent on destination.
