alarm systems and is available
in 4, 6, and 8 cores, in white
or brown outer sheaths, with
rip-cord. The
individual cores are colour
coded. In general, 4 core
cable is used for connecting
non-powered detectors, 6 core
for powered detectors and
external sounders and 8 core
for carrying more than one
zone on the same cable.
Screened cable is also
available for use in
situations where there is the
possibility of radio
interference (mobile phones,
flourescent lighting etc.). |
